Welcome to McSpanglish!

This is a website for Mr. McSparron's 7th grade Language Arts classes.

Even though this class is labeled "Standard" I do hold high expectations for all my students. I expect each and every student to complete all assignments to the best of their ability. Homework assignments are routinely given and graded. Readings are MANDATORY, not VOLUNTARY.

As the second quarter begins, students will begin to study poetry. The summative assessment for this unit will be the Poetry Portfolio. Students will collect and compose their own poems and submit them in Portfolio format to demonstrate thier knowlege  of poetry. This will lead to a Poetry Slam to close the quarter. Please keep an eye on the Assignments page for upcoming details.
